Quite ordinary guy – I’m Self, I love my family, and when I have spare time I follow my passion for deep music mix

I am a “Berlin West and was born in 1961, when the Berlin Wall was built, and Germany was divided between East and West. I was lucky in the FRG (West) become too big. I’m selling my beloved” Berlin Cocktail Bar ” in 2014. my family was important

Something you love of Berlin?
There are things in Berlin – that can love or hate

Apart from electronic music, what other genres do you like to listen to ?
I am many-sided in my musical taste. I love jazz, reggae, 50 ́s and all forms of electronic music

What is your opinion of the electronic scene in GERMANY?
had, in my opinion, in Germany and a major influence in the electronic scene. If you think of Kraftwerk, Can and Dangerine dream and other famous music artists today as Nils Fram, Marko Fürstenberg, Quantec, Narcotic303, Martin Nonstatic, Fingers IN The Noise…. – they were having a great inspiration for the whole electronic scene and also very famous

Which digital or analog equipment do you like to use for playing music?
They will laugh – 5 years ago I purchased a software for $ 30 for mixing – I use this until now, but I Traktor DJ and Ableton for special blends live action

Whats is your opinion about the new technology around the world of DJS?
Just think about the times you had to go to a studio to produce your music. And nowadays everybody can produce and mix at his small and relatively cheap home-studio. Isn ́t that a wonder how fast the technical development speeds up!

Vinyl, CD or digital?
I like both! But if you have a good produced Vinyl and play it on a good music system – I love this warm sound not so cool as on a CD. And unfortunately the quality of life-streaming on the net has very low and bad quality – I hope this will change soon.

What is for you the most important thing when you select the music for your sets?
I take my MP3 player and go through the woods and feel there and let me to inspire emotions and gut feeling
with this feeling I begin my mix in my studio

Which is your favourite Label? Why?
First i want to thank all artists and labels For their support. I personally have no favorite labels Because They all make good work
